Melissa Ivy Rauch (s. 23. kesäkuuta 1980[1] Marlboro, New Jersey, Yhdysvallat) on yhdysvaltalainen näyttelijä ja koomikko. Hänen tunnetuin roolinsa on Bernadette komediasarjassa Rillit huurussa.[2][3]
Ura
[muokkaa | muokkaa wikitekstiä]Melissa Rauch opiskeli näyttelemistä Marymount Manhattan Collegessa New Yorkissa.[4] Valmistuttuaan hän alkoi näytellä teatterissa ja tehdä standup-komiikkaa.[5] Hän oli mukana VH1:n ohjelmassa Best Week Ever vuosina 2005–2008.[6][1]
Rauch on esiintynyt televisiosarjoissa True Blood, Kath & Kim ja Konttori.[4] Hänellä oli sivuosa elokuvassa I Love You, Man.[6] Rauch on esittänyt Bernadettea komediasarjassa Rillit huurussa vuodesta 2009. Sarjan neljännellä tuotantokaudella hänen roolistaan tehtiin vakituinen.[7]
Teatterissa Rauchilla on ollut rooleja muun muassa näytelmissä Kesäyön unelma, Into the Woods ja Vampire Lesbians of Sodom. Hän on näytellyt George W. Bushin tytärtä Jenna Bushia esityksessä Miss Education of Jenna Bush.[8][4] Rauch alkoi esiintyä komediashowssa The Realest Real Housewives Los Angelesissa vuonna 2011. [9]
Yksityiselämä
