Dylan Christopher Minnette (s. 29. joulukuuta 1996 Evansville) on yhdysvaltalainen näyttelijä ja muusikko. Hänet tunnetaan parhaiten roolistaan Clay Jenseninä Netflixin tuottamassa sarjassa Kolmetoista syytä.[2] Hän on myös näytellyt David Shephardia sarjassa Lost sekä nuorta Michael Scofieldiä televisiosarjassa Pako.[3]
Yksityiselämä
[muokkaa | muokkaa wikitekstiä]Minnette syntyi Evansvillessä, Indianassa, hänen vanhempansa ovat Robyn ja Graig Minnette. [4][5] Hän muutti Champaigniin, Illinoisiin, jossa hän asui viisi vuotta ja myöhemmin hän muutti Los Angelesiin jatkaakseen uraansa näyttelijänä.
2014-2018 Minnette oli parisuhteessa Kerris Dorseyn kanssa, jonka hän tapasi elokuvassa Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Dayssa. [6] Myöhemmin sinä vuonna hän aloitti seurustelemaan Lydia Nightin kanssa. [7]

Hän on sittemmin esiintynyt NBC:n alkuperäisessä elokuvassa The Year Without a Santa Claus, nimettömänä hahmona Fred Clauksessa, Todd Lyonsina elokuvassa Teini tuli taloon ja Noah Frammina Snow Buddiessa. Merkittävässä rooleissa televisiossa, sisältäen nuoren version hahmosta Michael Scofield Pako ja hahmona Clay Norman Saving Grace. Hän näytteli kiusaajaa nimeltä Kenny Let Me In, joka julkaistiin lokakuussa 2010. Hän näytteli myös roolissa Jerry Crant Jr. ABC:n Scandal presidentin poikana. Minnette on myös esiintynyt useissa mainoksissa ja neljässä jaksossa Lostissa Jackin poikana.[8] Minnette on myös ilmestynyt "The Grow & the Butterfly" musiikkivideoon, jonka esittää Shinedown.
Vuodesta 2017, Minnette on näytellyt Clay Jensseniä Netflixin alkuperäissarjassa Kolmetoista syytä.[9][10] Hän on näytellyt myös Netflixin alkuperäisessa elokuvassa The Open House, joka esitettiin tammikuussa 2018. [11]
Musiikki
[muokkaa | muokkaa wikitekstiä]Minnette on laulaja ja rytmikitaristi bändissä Wallows, jossa on myös Cole Preston (rummut), Danny Ferenbach (trumpetti) ja Braeden Lemasters (laulaja ja kitaristi). Ennen vuotta 2017 heidät tunnettiin The Feaver ja sitten The Narwhals. He esittivät "Summer Meltdown" konsertin autismilaisille vuonna 2010. [12] ja voittivat bändikilpailu taistelun samana vuonna, sitä sponsoroi 98.7 FM. [13] He esiintyivät Vans Warped Tourilla vuonna 2011 ja ovat sitä asti esiintyneet monilla Los Angelesin tapahtumapaikoilla mukaan lukien Roxy Theatre ja Whisky a Go Go.[14] Heidän kappaleensa Bleeding Man käytettiin promona kaudessa 2 R.L. Stine´s The Haunting Hour.
Kauttaaltaan 2017, he julkaisivat neljä kappaletta "Pleaser", "Sun Tan", "Uncomfortable" ja "Pulling Leaves Off Trees" Apple musicissa ja Spotifyssa. Vuonna 2018 he julkaisivat kaksi kappaletta "Pictures of Girls" ja "These Days". He esittivät "Pictures of Girls" The Late Late Show with James Corden 8. toukokuuta 2018.
