Grant palkkasi tuottaja Jack Antonoffin yhteistuottajakseen Chemtrails over the Country Clubiin. Antonoff oli tuottajana myös Grantin edellisellä albumilla Norman Fucking Rockwell.
Levyn julkaisu viivästyi vuodella koronaviruspandemian aiheuttamien tuotantoviiveiden takia.[1]
Singlet ja esitykset
muokkaaKappale ”Let Me Love You like a Woman” julkaistiin singlenä 16. lokakuuta 2020. Grant esitti kappaleen valmiiksi tallennettuna joulukuussa 2020 The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon -keskusteluohjelmassa. Tämä oli ensimmäinen Grantin televisioitu esitys yhdeksään vuoteen. Hän esiintyi edellisen kerran televisiossa Saturday Night Livessä vuonna 2012.[2]
