📌 The first day focused on child #poverty in Italy. Claudio Tesauro, President of Save the Children Italia, and Maria Teresa Bellucci, Vice Minister of Labour and Social Policies, delivered institutional greetings. This was followed by a speech from journalist Marco Damilano. 📰
👉 Next was the presentation of the research "𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶 (𝗜𝗺)𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲", featuring:
Christian Morabito (He/Him), Senior Researcher at Save The Children and Walter Nanni, Sociologist at Caritas Italiana. 🍵
😍 The morning ended with a panel moderated by Annalisa Cuzzocrea, Deputy Editor of La Stampa, on poverty and the aspirations of young people in Italy, featuring: Enrico Giovannini, Scientific Director at ASviS - Alleanza Italiana per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile; Elena Goitini, Head of BNP Paribas Italy; Mery Pagliarini, President of Associazione Get UP; Marco Pagniello, Director of Caritas Italiana; raffaela milano, Research Director at Save the Children; Roberto Ricci, President of INVALSI; Matteo Lepore, Mayor of Bologna. Two young women, Amel and Roxana, shared their testimonies, followed by remarks from Paolo Gentiloni, European Commissioner for Economic Affairs. 💥
🗣 💬 The afternoon panel on open innovation, moderated by Lorenzo Catapano, included: Carlo Batori; Carlotta Caprioli; Massimiliano Costa; Nico Valenti Gatto; Alessandra Luksch; Laura Orestano CEO-SocialFare; Ivan Ortenzi; Michele Padovani; Diego Palano. They left us with some fantastic ideas. 🙌
🌍 The second day focused on #Africa, featuring a lineup of amazing speakers: Daniela Fatarella, Director General of Save the Children Italia; Lethabo Sithole, Managing Partner at Amila Africa; Stefano Gatti, Director General DGCS of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. 🔥 🌐
