Do you know who is the Wirepas team member furthest away from Tampere? We’ll spoil it for you: That's Vafa (on the right), based in Melbourne, Australia. It's far away from Tampere but Mom likes it. They even have snow sometimes. In a couple of weeks, Vafa is traveling closer to Tampere. He’ll be in Perth, Australia, for Digitalization in Mining Australia on November 26-27. You'll find him from our partner Coolon LED Lighting's stand. Andrew (on the left) knows very very good IoT, too.

Some of you were disappointed to learn Mom wasn't at Embedded World in Austin a few weeks back, even though she was in Texas. She had other plans. She was traveling around the state with our partner Haltian to see very very good IoT in use. They had some barbecue, as you should while visiting Texas.

Before revealing what Mom was up to in Texas, let's return to Norway for a moment. Mom visited Norway last spring to see how the Aidon smart meter network is doing. It is the biggest (known) wireless network, with 1 million smart meters in one network. In case you were wondering: the network is doing its thing and all good. Mom may have a van, but she really likes this snowmobile too. It's easier to make sure her son Ville (and our CTO) takes his ice baths during winter.

We were very very happy to host the Finnish Ambassador Matti Anttonen and business Finland representative Heli Pasanen-Zentz to our office in Grenoble, France. Now we’ll continue to work with Business Finland on our awareness toward winning over some French accounts.
