Our actions to expand the use of VECSEL technology to new applications and geographical areas are continuing during the summer. We are delighted to participate with an invited talk at the #OpticaSensing24 Congress taking place this week in Toulouse. In the sessions focused on emerging industrial technologies, Mircea Guina will introduce the versatility offered by Vexlum laser platform to applications in sensing and spectroscopy. A great opportunity to also promote our distribution agreement with Opton Laser International bringing our laser technology closer to customers in France.

Congratulations Elevate Quantum! Vexlum is thrilled to be a consortium member of EQ and proud to see them leading our vibrant community.
A quantum celebration! 🎉 Thanks to everyone for coming out and toasting to the Mountain West's historic moment as the global leader in quantum. A special thanks to our speakers, Gov. Jared Polis, Lucy Sanders, Corban Tillemann-Dick, Wendy Lea and Zachary Yerushalmi, and to the more than 150 guests who came to eTown last night to celebrate this moment and look ahead to even greater possibilities on the horizon! Thanks to Kort Duce for beautifully capturing the festivities and Kanitha Snow for helping put the event together. Here's to even more reasons to celebrate in the future!

Vexlum team on the road again, ending an intense month of technology promotion and customer interactions. This week we are exhibiting at the Optica #Quantum 2.0 conference in Rotterdam. We are also introducing the latest developments of our VXL laser platform for quantum technology and spectroscopy in a technical session on Thursday (paper QTh2.C4). On the home ground we are present with a technical presentation at #IQTNordics taking place in Helsinki. #quantumtechnology #lasers #VECSELs Eero Koivumäki Jussi-Pekka Penttinen Mircea Guina

It was a pleasure for our Sales Manager Eero to join the Business Finland trade mission to Japan in April. VEXLUM is proudly delivering lasers to the Japanese quantum community through our distributor partners. We're grateful to assist pushing quantum technologies forward with our unique capability VECSEL lasers. Eero's trip included presenting VEXLUM's offering to a Japanese audience hosted by JETRO - Japan External Trade Organization and Business Finland, an intriguing visit and poster session at KONICA MINOLTA, INC. Hachioji site, and visiting our existing customers and end users within Kanto, Chubu and Kinki regions. We'd like to express our gratitude to all amazing hosts Eero had during the week, which proved to be highly beneficial for us and our distributor partners.

Great day to cherish our tight connections to the State of Colorado and the USA. In the morning we celebrated the MoU between Finland and the State of Colorado promoting strategic collaboration in aerospace, quantum, and energy technologies. Vexlum was highlighted as a model example of strategic collaboration having Vexlum US established at the start of the MoU. We were excited to greet the trade mission, led by Governor Jared Polis, and have exciting discussions with our technology friends from Colorado. Then, ending the day at an Independence Day celebration at the US Embassy. #quantumtechnology #quantum Jussi-Pekka Penttinen Emmi Kantola Mircea Guina Philip Makotyn Eve Lieberman Jared Polis Michelle Hadwiger

Another great week at American Physical Society DAMOP 2024 comes to a close. We were thrilled to meet & greet so many of our customers and collaborators. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat with Eero and Philip! We had so many vibrant conversations that there are no photos from our booth, but we're happy to promote a nice talk given by Dr. Caleb Rich from our EU Quantum Flagship funded UVQuanT project collaborators at Imperial College London showcasing the combined European effort to develop new high-power lasers in the DUV region. In this abstract, our 455 - 458 nm tunable VALO SHG laser system is utilized together with Agile Optic SHG doubling cavity and EKSMA Optics DUV optics to get up to 0.5 W of output power for Cd and AlF transitions at 229 nm and 227.5 nm, respectively. Such a wide collaboration enables DUV laser availability to support further research and other applications on many intriguing ionic, atomic or molecular species, including these two! #DAMOP2024 #UVQuanT

A great week behind promoting Finnish quantum technology in Taiwan. We were proud to introduce the power of our laser technology and to contribute to increasing collaboration opportunities between Finland and Taiwan. Thank you Suvi Sundquist Outi Keski-Äijö Lauri Raunio Mika Kouhia and other dedicated members of Business Finland who made this trip a success!
*Quantum in Taiwan* Superconducting, traped ion or silicon based? The 11th Finland-Taiwan Business Forum in Taipei this week focused on quantum technologies, followed by inspiring visits by our business delegation to Taiwanese companies and research organizations. Bluefors, the coolest company, has already provided 1250 cryogenic cooling installations around the world. Vexlum provides lasers for quantum computers, SemiQon silicon based scalable quantum chips and QuantrolOx control software to get the most out of quantum computers and accelerate their development. IQM Quantum Computers offers an easy start with access to their cloud option, followed by Spark, the 5 qubit research & education version, all the way to Radiance on-premise quantum computer, now available at 20 qubits. Their IQM Academy is also suitable for executives trying to figure out how quantum computing will transform the industry. Research group represented were Aalto University micro & quantum systems, University of Jyväskylä quantum information & computation team, University of Oulu biomimetics & intelligent systems group and VTT, operator of Finland’s current 20 qubit computer and representing their work on quantum software, including post-quantum cryptography. Thank you to our partner CIECA and everyone we met for their warm hospitality 🙏🏻 Great job by our Taipei team, especially Hung-Yi Chang and support by Daphne W. 🙌🏻 How wonderful it feels to reach across continents and see the personal connections form! Next, join IQT Nordics conference in Espoo in June! #Deeptech #Startup #Innovation #BusinessFinland #QuantumComputing

We are excited to participate the exhibition at the American Physical Society #MarchMeeting2024! Looking forward to meeting customers and collaborators and introduce the latest updates to our VALO and VXL laser platforms. If attending the meeting, come to visit our booth #1407 in the exhibition hall (the place where you can also find the Finnish chocolates). We keep developing fast and expand the versatility of our semiconductor gain chip technology that allow us to build optically pumped lasers (#VECSELs) with supreme wavelength coverage, high-power, low-noise, and excellent beam quality. #apsmarch #quantumtechnology #lasers #semiconductors
