We'd like to give you a glimpse into what a typical day at Scanfil looks like. Take a look at Monika's day as a Global Account Manager 🌟📅👩💼. "My name is Monika Maniok and would like to tell you few words about my day at work. It takes me 15 minutes to travel from my home to the office, but my journey with Scanfil is a bit longer.   I started my career in 2012 as an operational buyer. My first contact with IFS made me want to run away. I was silently observing my buddy, jumping from one window to another, thinking “that will be fun”. After two years I was given opportunity to deepen my skills in mastering this tool. I joined logistic and planning team. This was my first contact with our customers. After 2 more years I was promoted to Program Manager position. Since that time, I have been trying to explore all secrets of customer service and from over 2 years also to improve sales skills as a Global Account Manager.   In every position I've worked in, I have learnt new things and gained new experiences and found out how to overcome problems day by day.   And I always start my day with coffee. My work brings me new challenges all the time, so I need a decent dose of energy, refueled every few hours. I like to have something sweet to go with my coffee. My colleagues know I can smell chocolate from across the office. Its kind of a gift.   I work in a factory in Sieradz, where majority of the production of my customers is located. It brings a lot of value to my work, when I can see the people with whom I work with and that I can go to production area whenever it is needed. I like this hustle and bustle of working in the factory. Whenever I need to be more focused e.g. work on strategy, dig into agreements or other legal documents I prefer to work from home.   My calendar is usually full of meetings, but that’s what I like about my job. We’re thrilled to announce that Scanfil and HERMA are partnering up for the manufacturing of the HERMA 500! 🤝 HERMA, a European leader in labeling solutions, has chosen Scanfil for the PCBA of their flagship product, the HERMA 500. This highly modular and fast labeling machine is designed for various applications, including bottles, food, and personal care products. “We were very careful in choosing our manufacturing partner. Scanfil has a good reputation in the marketplace and the right capabilities for us,” says Vincent Zabel, Purchasing Team Leader at HERMA. “We’re starting with PCBA, but we’re also exploring further opportunities for expanding our collaboration, where Scanfil has a strong offering and capabilities”. In Malmö, we hosted a group of investors, equity analysts, and media representatives who gathered for an exclusive tour of Scanfil's advanced complex system integration factory. The event delivered a deep dive into the manufacturing world of Scanfil and its esteemed customer, INVISIO. The day unfolded with a series of engaging presentations: CEO Christophe Sut shared Scanfil's strategy, financial targets, and commitment to ESG, followed by an introduction to INVISIO by SVP Operations Joakim Birgersson. After a brief break, MD Carl-Johan Forsberg provided an overview of Malmö's operations. The highlight of the day was the factory tour, where attendees witnessed high-mix low volume manufacturing processes in action. Ostatnie miesiące w Mysłowicach upływały nam pod znakiem szkolenia Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. 14 pracowników z różnych działów naszej firmy miało okazję zanurzyć się w świat metod optymalizacji procesów. Jednak to szkolenie opierało się, nie tylko na zdobyciu wiedzy, ale zbudowało zespół mający wspólną wizję doskonałości. Nasze założenie jest takie, że każdy pracownik ma potencjał do wprowadzania pozytywnych zmian. Podczas szkolenia zostało zaplanowane pięć projektów optymalizacyjnych, które będą realizowane przez uczestników. Każdy z tych projektów jest wyzwaniem, które pozwoli na praktyczne zastosowanie zdobytej wiedzy i umiejętności. Z optymizmem patrzymy na to co już wypracował nasz zespół i jesteśmy pewni, że wdrożenie zdobyczy z tego szkolenia przyniesie wymierne korzyści dla całej organizacji. Great news in the sustainability world 🌍! Scanfil is proud to announce the approval of its near-term science-based targets by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This milestone highlights our commitment to sustainability and climate action.  Our Goals:  🔹Reduce scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 55.8% by 2030 (from 2020).  🔹Reduce scope 3 GHG emissions by 25% by 2030 (from 2022). “These ambitious targets reflect Scanfil’s dedication to driving meaningful change and contributing to a sustainable future.
