We cut the ribbon at Pier 36 in Manhattan 🇺🇸🎉   On Thursday 25th September, Kempower and Revel celebrated the opening of the new fast charging hub right off the FDR Drive. The charging hub will be a gamechanger for more than 100,000 rideshare drivers, which the City of New York requires to be made up of either zero-emission vehicles or wheelchair accessible vehicles by 2030 💚⚡️   The charging site is equipped with 10 Kempower Satellites, 5 with CCS1 plugs and 5 with NACS plugs. The hub is open to the public 24/7 ⏰🔌   “This is our first deployment of Kempower chargers, bringing the highest speeds and reliability to our network. We’re looking forward to adding them to more sites in the future," said Frank Reig, Revel’s Co-Founder & CEO “This prime location ensures maximum convenience for drivers, further encouraging the shift towards electric vehicles. Kempower and Zeon Charging collaborate to speed up the deployment of EV charging hubs in India 🇮🇳🎉 One charging hub is already installed in Sira, Karnataka, with plans to establish a network of over 20 charging hubs over the upcoming years. The charging sites operated by Zeon will be capable of delivering 200-400 kW of power each and offer 6-8 charging outputs per hub with Kempower Satellites 🔌⚡️ “In line with our philosophy of rolling out best-in-class DC charging infrastructure, we are very proud to be partnering with Kempower for their high-quality, user-friendly fast-charging solutions. Apart from our sales and service partnership, we are excited to roll out the Kempower Satellite charging systems along some of our important highway stations in our own DC charger network and continue to provide the Indian customer with a premium, hassle-free experience. Kempower and Nets collaborate to simplify the EV charging payment process in the Nordics 💳 Through this collaboration, Nets’ contactless payment solutions will be able to integrate into Kempower’s charging solutions in the Nordics, ensuring compliance with European alternative fuels regulations (AFIR) 🔋⚡️ EV drivers will be able to pay easily using Visa and Mastercard cards, as well as Apple Pay or Google Pay.
