I believe there no better way to evaluate export market as to come and see what going on there. This week brings a lot of new contacts and knowledge about this growing economy. We still have few places left for innovative and export-oriented entrepreneurs in Bridging4Growth, but you should know - we want to see your sales so we will require you to work hard to reach our main KPI - your sales.

5th and the last day of our delegation to Toronto, Canada, brought us to McMaster Innovation Park in Hamilton. We were given the overview of the park, McMaster University, MILO, Research Insititute of St Joe's, and Mohawk College. Besides, we had the chance to dig deeper into healthtech, cleantech, deep tech and log tech, meet some of the great startups of the park and tour around their facilities - at The Forge and at MMRI. 4th day of our Canadian trip started with Collision and finished with a welcoming reception to celebrate traditional Summer Solstice on the rooftop of 401 Richmond Building . ☀️ The reception was organised by Estonian Embassy in Ottawa, Business Finland in Toronto, Embassy of Sweden in Canada, Latvijas Investīciju un attīstības aģentūra - LIAA (Investment and Development Agency of Latvia), and Bridging4Growth export project. We were so excited and happy to create and organise four different countries' reception on behalf of our export project during Collision 2024 and this was probably the best reception ever!

The 3rd day of our Canada delegation was the day of Collision 2024! 💥 Full day of interesting talks, discussions, meet-ups and new connections for our group members. The main topic of Collision is - artificial intellegence! It's been discussed on every angle and it's going to be our new reality! Our Canadian delegation 2nd day in Toronto started with the seminar of "How to do business in Canada?" 🇨🇦 We were shared the insight of Canadian and Toronto's ecosystem by Steven Karpenko, corporate legal system by Barbara R.C. Doherty, how to protect your IP in Canada by Eugene Gierczak, Canadian immigration issues by Zaynah Marani and the overview on Canadian tax policies by Lorne Saltman. After a nice walk through the streets of Toronto, we visited Business Sweden and Business Finland office in Toronto where Lori Woloshyn and Christina Keighren welcomed our delegation. They organised us a short panel discussion to discuss the practical experiences of how to do business in Canada which ended with lovely reception wih other companies that have entered to Canadian maket. Experiences were shared by Tobias Porserud from Mentimeter, Marielle Voksepp from University of Calgary and Marianne Mannerheim. Our long day was finished with attending the welcoming event of Collision 2024.

Bridging4growth delegation has arrived to Canada! 🇨🇦 In total of 8 companies and 4 countries' representatives, we are a delegation of 15 people. The first day started with introduction rounds and some team-building at Canada's most popular attraction - Niagara Falls. Later in the evening we had a nice dinner at JOEY in Eaton Centre, when we also met our mentors with whom we've been working with almost a year!
