Looking for a grid-independent future? We are looking for a host for an innovative energy project! We are currently working on an exciting project to utilise hydrogen technology to effectively and reliably store renewable energy in residential or commercial buildings in Finland. At this stage, we are seeking a target property to implement the project. 🔹 On offer: • Implement a complete hydrogen-based energy storage system (ESS) in a building • Energy storage through renewable sources (solar panels -> electrolysis -> hydrogen -> electricity) • Utilizing LT-PEM fuel cell technology 🔹 We are looking for: • An innovative client willing to invest in CAPEX costs (~100,000 €) • The technology can be applied to a residential or commercial property Would you be interested in talking about this more? Contact BalticSeaH2 partner PowerUP Energy Technologies, and together, we can make future energy solutions a reality!💡 📧 Tim Nieminen #energy #hydrogentechnology #innovation #renewableenergy #energystorage

Demonstrating hydrogen economy with the largest cross-border Hydrogen Valley in Europe
About us
BalticSeaH2 is a project co-funded by EU, which builds the first significant, cross-border hydrogen valley in Europe. The goal is to create an integrated hydrogen economy around the Baltic Sea to enable self-sufficiency of energy and minimise carbon emissions from different industries. The project includes 40 partners from nine Baltic Sea area countries. BalticSeaH2 projects enables 25 demonstration and investment cases to showcase the different sectors of hydrogen economy, adding up to over 4000 million euros in total investments. The production potential for hydrogen will reach 100 000 tonnes of hydrogen annually by the end of the project. The hydrogen and its derivatives can be utilised or sold by different industries brought together by the project. Funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or Clean Hydrogen Partnership. Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them. The project is supported by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership and its members.

💡 Seminar: Development of the hydrogen market in the Baltic Sea region 📅 On 16th October 2024 in Berlin, a seminar took place focusing on hydrogen infrastructure and market development. Addressing the role of infrastructure and regional cooperation, gas TSOs Amber Grid, Gasgrid, GAZ-SYSTEM and ONTRAS Gastransport GmbH discussed the progress and challenges with hydrogen infrastructure projects that form part of the European Hydrogen backbone. 📈 The following panel discussed the development of the hydrogen market and the related opportunities and challenges. Moderated by Bartosz Arabik, the panel consisting of Steven Sepp, Christopher Frey, Aivars Starikovs and Aigars Laizāns addressed the commercial and regulatory challenges currently faced by the hydrogen market. The regulatory framework for the hydrogen economy is taking shape and it's now up to the market to develop the effective solutions that enable an energy system based on renewables and supported by hydrogen. BalticSeaH2 project includes hydrogen production, storage and use cases to demonstrate hydrogen economy in practice throughout the value chain. Over 20 use cases within the project are divided into concepts we call ‘investment cases’. There are more than 10 investment cases to be announced within the project. For example, when our partner invests in building a hydrogen production facility, other partners can utilise the facility to demonstrate their hydrogen solutions in practice. As final investment decisions are made privately by our partner companies individually, we are not able to publish all of them yet, but we did publish the first five already📢 Check them out here➡️https://lnkd.in/dhEiX5Yg
