HDAC4

هیستون دِاَستیلاز ۴ (انگلیسی: Histone deacetylase 4) یک پروتئین است که در انسان توسط ژن «HDAC4» کُدگذاری میشود.[۴][۵]
این پروتئین نقش بسیار مهمی در تنظیم رونویسی ژنها، پیشرفتِ چرخهٔ سلولی و وقایع تکاملی سلول دارد.
هیستون دِاَستیلاز ۹، با مولکول HDAC3[۴][۶][۷][۸] و ZBTB16[۹][۱۰] تعامل پروتئین-پروتئین دارد.
اهمیت بالینی
[ویرایش]پژوهشها نشان دادهاند که هیستون دِاَستیلاز ۴ در رشد و تکامل استخوان و ماهیچه نقش دارد.
همچنین پژوهشگران دانشگاه هاروارد به این نتیجه رسیدهاند که این آنزیم در سلامت قوهٔ بینایی نقش دارد: کاهش سطح این آنزیم موجب مرگ گیرندههای استوانهایشکل و سلولهای دوقطبی شبکیه در موشها میگردد.[۱۱][۱۲]
