Simulated ether that collectively grows and evolves. Each pixel acts as a lifeform with simple functions.
Evol Ether allows thousands of pixel lifeforms to move, interact, and reproduce. Colliding pixels exchange energy, destroy each other, and reproduce with slight color variations.
Note: The below description is for version 3 (for now). However, please consider checking out version 4 (beta), which has a ton of improvements and is rewritten from scratch.
Color values affect these collisions in that Red trumps Green, Green over Blue, and Blue over Red. However, any color is possible and the Red, Green, and Blue found in those colors (whether pink or orange) will affect any given interaction. More pixels can be spawned by clicking the mouse anywhere.
All moves and reproductions are in one of 8 directional shifts (moore neighborhood) for the particle. Reproduction will drain their energy, as will movement. Colonized particles, or those with colors within a similarity range, will only share energy, rather than attacking each other.
Every menu setting is explained in the black message box in the bottom lefthand corner. Many different results can be obtained from even small setting adjustments.
