🏙️ Checking in from the Big Apple, where our brilliant Chief Commercial Officer Nishank Gopalkrishnan was invited to join the Skift Global Forum to represent TUI Musement and discuss the value of experiences for travellers together with Peek's CEO Ruzwana Bashir & Jules Seeley from McKinsey & Company. Impressive panel with smart questions by Seth Borko - my key take aways: 🌎 Experiences drive happiness and loyalty across all customer segments. 🌍 Live events - like sports or concerts - are back at driving travel plans for many age groups. A great entry point to become relevant for hotel brands, OTAs and airlines. A great time to re-introduce the TUI Palma Marathon :-) 🌏 The decision for most experiences is taken just a few days before and many suppliers are still small scale, hyperlocal - a huge opportunity for curated platforms like TUI Musement that can guarantee sustainability, quality and safety. And kudos to #Skift: Meeting those 1.250 senior leaders from across the travel industry was a real pleasure - especially in such an inspiring setting. A huge thank you to the other panelists and great speakers at this extraordinary event in one of the most exciting cities in the world.
