INGETEAM HYDRO designs and manufactures equipment and systems for hydroelectric power plants, including Indar generators, control and automation systems, hybridization with other renewable sources, battery integration, and frequency converters for both variable speed reversible machines and starters for fixed speed machines. INGETEAM executes projects and provides supplies adapted to the specific needs of each client, both for new construction plants, as well as the modernization or rehabilitation of existing installations. INGETEAM HYDRO diseña y fabrica equipos y sistemas para centrales hidroeléctricas, destacando los generadores Indar, los sistemas de control y automatización, la hibridación con otras fuentes renovables, la integración de baterías y los convertidores de frecuencia tanto para máquinas reversibles de velocidad variable, como los arrancadores para máquinas de velocidad fija.     The Miguillas hydroelectric project continues its course... ⏩   The project is located in the Department of La Paz, in the municipalities of Quime and Cajuata. It consists of two cascading hydroelectric power plants; Umalpaca and Palillada. The Umapalca plant draws water from the Miguillas river and the Palillada plant draws water from the Umapalca plant.   👉 Ingeteam's supply includes the design and manufacture of 6 Indar generators with a total capacity of 203 MVA.     Ingeteam will take part in the refurbishment of Tajo de la Encantada 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 power plant by supplying the Soft Starting System❗   Tajo de La Encantada hydroelectric power plant is located in the municipality of El Chorro, in Malaga and has a head of 398 m. The plant is made up of four vertical synchronous units, each unit has a unitary power of 112.50 MVA.⚡   ➡️ Ingeteam's scope of works include the 𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘™ 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 and the corresponding 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 to make a sequential synchronous starting of all the units together with associated 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺.   Beyond 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 function with the best possible performance in terms of speed and torque precision, very low power system harmonics, low reactive power demand, and low torque pulsations in the machine air gap and shaft, 𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘™ 𝟰-𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗩𝗦𝗜 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 provide additional services such as: • 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗢𝗠 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 operation with Dynamic Reactive power regulation during pumping, generating and at standstill. • 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: o  Reducing transition durations o  Transferring kinetic energy to the grid   #behydro #ingeteamhydro #ElectrifyingaSustainableFuture

    We are proud that they have entrusted Ingeteam Hydro with the supply of generators for the Tugalo hydroelectric power plant❗   The power plant was built in 1923 and one year later, four generators were running in the power house, giving the Tugalo power plant a total capacity of 45 MVA.   👉 Our supply comprises the design, manufacture and supply of 4 Indar generators with a total capacity of 75 MVA.     The contract for Sembrancher, in Valais, Switzerland, was signed on September 1st, 2022. It included, in particular, the replacement of an old 3 MW unit with a new vertical-axis Pelton unit with six 8 MW injectors, as well as the inlet and main valves, and part of the supply system. The construction project was carried out in two phases. The first phase, from August to the end of December 2023, included the rehabilitation of the charging chamber and the installation of the frame/distributor/inlet valve and the bifurcation of the penstock to bring the old units (1 and 2) back into service as quickly as possible. The second phase, from February to the end of May 2024, included the installation of the generator, the assembly of the injectors, the runner, and the oil production unit, as well as the piping, cabling, and various related works. ANDRITZ, along with its partner INGETEAM, is very proud to have completed the commissioning of this new unit and would like to thank DransEnergie SA and its employees for their trust and valuable collaboration. #andritz #hydropower #renewableenergy #pelton #turbine #modernization

    Les index tests, qu'est-ce que c'est ?   Également appelés essais indiciels, ils permettent d’évaluer la performance des turbines hydro-électriques, sans une mesure absolue du débit. Clairement définis dans la norme IEC 62006 classe B, ils permettent de contrôler la forme de la courbe de rendement et de vérifier l’évolution du rendement de la turbine en fonction du débit.   HPP FRENCH HYDRO TURBINE MANUFACTURER propose ce service aux exploitants. Dernièrement, nous l'avons réalisé pour la filiale de EDF, SHEMA (Société Hydraulique d'Etudes et de Missions d'Assistance) sur un de leurs sites d'exploitation. Ce site est équipé d'une turbine Kaplan horizontale double réglage à bâche spirale acier avec une roue de diamètre de 1.412m, une chute nette nominale de 26m pour un débit unitaire de 11.5m3/s, soit une puissance hydraulique disponible de 2930 kW.   Pour les turbines KAPLAN à double réglage, les index tests permettent de vérifier la conjugaison d'ouverture des pales de roue et d'ouverture des directrices pour un rendement optimum.   Une nouvelle conjugaison des ouvertures a donc été proposée pour ce site en particulier afin d'atteindre des meilleurs points de rendements sur toute la plage de fonctionnement de cette turbine.   Merci à SHEMA (Société Hydraulique d'Etudes et de Missions d'Assistance) et Energialys pour la confiance en HPP quant à la réalisation de ces essais.

    An Indar generator has been installed at the Hogefoss power plant in Nissedal (Norway), a hydroelectric plant that is more than 100 years old❗   The Indar vertical generator has an output of 9.9 MVA, and together with the other generator they provide a total power of 33.5 MVA.   The output of the power plant has increased from 152 GWh to 172 GWh thanks to the installation of a new unit, covering the annual electricity needs of 10,800 households.⚡   We continue providing renewable and green energy to new communities. 🙌 #behydro #ingeteamhydro #ElectrifyingaSustainableFuture

    Piottino, Switzerland - Contract for the rehabilitation of the 3 Francis groups In April 2024, AET (Azienda Elettrica Ticinese) awarded the ANDRITZ/INGETEAM consortium (Spain) the contract for the supply of the electromechanical equipment for the rehabilitation of the Piottino hydropower plant in Ticino. The Piottino hydropower plant was built between 1928 and 1932 by Officine Elettriche Ticinesi. Originally equipped with two vertical Francis units, it was extended with a third unit in 1957, increasing the total power plant output to 67 MW. The plant produces around 310 GWh per year, which corresponds to the needs of 77,500 households. AET has been operating the plant since 1972, after the water utilization concession expired and the hydropower plant was taken over by the County of Ticino. In recent years, AET has carried out an extensive modernization program for the power plant, the main objectives of which are the replacements of the electromechanical equipment and the power plant's valves. As part of this extensive refurbishment program, ANDRITZ Switzerland and its partner INGETEAM will supply the turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems. The delivery of the units will be staggered, with the rehabilitation of the first group taking place in April 2027, and the last one in April 2029. A model test will also be carried out in our hydraulic laboratory in Linz, Austria to optimize the hydraulic performance.
