INTERCHARM 2023 - BEAUTY PROJECT N1 IN RUSSIA The 30th International #InterCHARM exhibition for the #perfumery and #cosmetics industry occurred over four vibrant days from October 25th to 28th in #Moscow. It was a pleasure to convene with esteemed industry giants and developing market players representing #manufacturers, #brands, #packaging and #ingredients #suppliers, #beauty businesses, #retailers, and #distributors. It was a remarkable gathering, with 17 countries in attendance, showcasing the most extensive delegations from #Russia, #China, #Turkiye, and #Korea. The diverse participation was segmented as follows: - 38% represented Beauty salons and other beauty services - 18% comprised Retailers, wholesalers, and distributors - 14% were Manufacturers of perfumes and cosmetics - 10% were Private Masters One of the highlights we highly recommend is the #RetailConnect programme. This event significantly enhances the success of appointments and supply negotiations between manufacturers and retailers (chains). It's a valuable asset we encourage our partners and clients to explore. Take for instance the recent news of the sneaker brand Golden Goose, who are preparing for a listing on the Milan Stock Exchange, marking a journey of innovation and growth. The company, which is now valued at about 3 billion euros, began in a small atelier in Venice's Marghera industrial area. Golden Goose's CEO, Silvio Campara, has continually emphasized the need for continuous growth and new ideas. They are expanding globally, focusing on creating unique experiences for their customers – yet they've always remained cognizant of their roots. As we navigate the ever-changing landscape of business, we must never forget the lessons of the past. To me, the days when Octonano team had only three people and a handful of clients are precious.
