Isabel Caruana

«I first met Isabel in 2011 when I joined the Robert H Smith School of Business for my MBA. She was my teammate in my first project at the school. Since then we have worked together on numerous projects both outside and inside school. She has an uncanny ability to understand concepts quickly and turn abstract ideas into working models. She is both hardworking and altruist in nature and thus proves to be a great asset for any team. Her organization skills and timeliness are immaculate. There were numerous occasion on which she kept the team on track and helped us deliver the project on time. A special mention needs to be made here for her work on a project for a France based kids Apparel Company. The company needed help to expand in the US and we as business school students were helping them build a market entry strategy. Being from Europe, she had a great understanding of the differences of doing business in the US and in Europe and this helped our team to come up with a robust and easily actionable plan. During our marketing analysis class project, she demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills and helped us build predictive analysis models using excel and softwares like SPSS. Having worked in the finance industry before and for her internship, she possesses a great understanding of the finance concepts. Together we participated in a number of presentations for our school work and it goes without saying that she has the ability to communicate crisply and effectively. Outside of work assignment, she also guided our team during our travel to Europe and is a wonderful person to hang out with. Simply said, having her around makes assignments and teams organized and successful.»
