Yesterday we celebrated International Women in Engineering Day and we proudly take the time to highlight some of the incredibly talented women who are part of the Windar Renovables workforce, reminding everyone the importance of the inclusion in the wind sector.   Windar Renovables is continuosly working in creating new opportunities that promote the involvement of women in these sectors. Their diverse perspectives enrich industry and pave the way for the future of the built environment. 🚀   International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) is not only a global awareness campaign, emphasising the importance of innovation and diversity within this field. We also want to take this day as an opportunity to recognize and appreciate the diverse talents and achievements of our women engineers! 👉 19th Polish Wind Energy Association Conference PWEA 2024 Świnoujście, Poland PSEW2024 has concluded. 🏆 #PSEW2024 gathered over 2500 participants, resulting in hundreds of excellent meetings, inspiring conversations with business partners and friends, and a substantial amount of knowledge. 👍 With great pleasure, we had the opportunity to participate in two different talks (Windar Polska project & Windar Supply Chain) and share opinion on the challenges for the offshore market. 💙 BIG THANK YOU to The Polish Wind Energy Association👏 for the greatest organization and allowing us to squeeze as much as possible out these days with wonderful meetings! We are happy to had this pleasant time together with you. Can’t wait for next year! ✋

🤝 Windar Renovables is excited to be participating today and tomorrow in the PWEA Conference not only in Poland but Central and Eastern Europe!! Organized by The Polish Wind Energy Association, the largest wind event in the country will take place this year: 📅 When: 4- 6 June 2024 📍 Where: Swinoujscie, Western Pomerania 📌 Today, 5 June, our Chief Commercial Officer, Nacho Rodriguez, will be presenting and discussing at the Speaker Zone our upcoming project in Szczecin Port to manufacture XXL Offshore Towers from 2026 and onwards. 🔹 On the other hand, Thursday 6 June, Jesús Soriano, Procurement Specialist in Windar Renovables team, will make a presentation referring to Poland facilities planned and the needs we will face from the manufacturing point of view, highlighting the companies and partners with which we will collaborate in order to solve the needs. ❗Don’t miss the chance to meet us there! We are looking forward to meet existing and new clients and partners, and learn more about the offshore wind developments in Poland. Today took place the ceremonial signing letter of intent between the City of Szczecin and Windar Polska, strenghtening our cooperation for the construction of our new facility in Poland which will manufacture XXL offshore towers. ◾At our Windar production site in Szczecin we prove our commitment to drive and strengthen Poland's energy transition. With the collaboration and contribution of all those involved, we will succeed in ensuring that this project becomes a significant benchmark at European level'' declares Orlando Alonso, Executive Chairman of Windar Renovables. ◾The signing of the letter is another important step for the economic development of Szczecin. We want to be actively involved in the process of building a new factory in Szczecin. We declare broad support for Windar" says Michał Przepiera, deputy president of Szczecin. Wrapping up another exceptional and busy week! 💥 Take a look back on the newest advancements we've been working on ⚒️ 💨 🚢 Foundations on route! 4️⃣ batch of transition pieces whose loud out took place in Avilés and will soon be arrived on site soon 🇺🇸 Windar Renovables dispatches five more transition pieces foundations that will be installed at the Vineyard Wind I (806MW) offshore wind farm in the coast of Massachusetts. ✅ We had the pleasure of hosting members of the ScottishPower team earlier this week for a tour at Fene's shipyard facilities to talk about all the progress on our ongoing monopiles project manufactured by Navantia Seanergies-Windar Renovables. 🏗 Upending of a new transition piece for the East Anglia Three (1.4 GW) offshore wind project. ➡ A total of 95 foundations will be manufacture in our plant in Avilés. Each of these pieces will have maximum dimensions of 20 metres in height, 8 metres in diameter, and 300 tonnes in weight. ➡ A total of 19 units are already storage in the Port of Avilés until they are shipped to UK. What a way to end the week with these great news! 👌
