Sony recognizes the importance of preserving the natural environment that sustains all life on the Earth for future generations, thus Sony Europe Sustainability Team and Design Centre Europe teams created a permanent space, Planet Station, in our Weybridge office to showcase Sony's progress in environmental sustainability. 🌿 Planet Station shows Sony projects, explains terminology and facts, and presents details about our products and packaging with the purpose of increasing awareness of Sony’s Environmental impact. We are proud of this installation and how innovation can contribute to sustainability on Earth. 🙌🏼 #SonyCares #Sustainability #Environment

Earlier this month, Sony Berlin participated in Schichtwechsel (“shift change”), an initiative across Germany that allows companies' employees and employees from workshops for disabled people to swap jobs for a day, broadening horizons, fostering mutual understanding and gaining new insights. 🔁 This year, we welcomed Thorsten and Nicole from Mosaik-Berlin gGmbH, one of the umbrella organizations for these workshops. They joined our Retail Activation Team to learn about sales, performance management, and find out more about our WH1000-XM5 headphones. 🎧 Then, five Sony employees had the opportunity to work in various workshops, including printing, bookbinding, painting, shipping, and in the canteen. It was an enriching experience for all the participants and thanks to everyone who participated in and made it a success, we look forward to next year’s Schichtwechsel! 🙌🏼 Sony Europe #Sustainability #Diversity

Dive into the incredible waters of Revillagigedo National Park with the marine biologist Dr. Pelayo Salinas de León who relies on his Sony Alpha camera for underwater photography capturing this incredible marine sanctuary and inspiring us to preserve it. “The underwater world – what goes on below the surface – is understandably alien to us. It’s a vast and challenging environment. By exploring, studying and photographing the last wild places in our blue planet, I want to share the beauty of our oceans so people can relate to it and become advocates for its protection.” Read the full interview here: https://lnkd.in/edUiNwDN 📸: Pelayo Salinas de León #Sony #SonyEurope #SonyCares #Sustainability #Environment #SonyAlpha #AlphaUniverse

Some weeks ago, Sony Hungary had the pleasure of hosting our Solidarity Games, where seven teams came together to challenge their creativity and cooperation through a series of engaging games. 🎲 Participants tackled fun challenges that simulated different abilities, such as completing tasks with one hand or while blindfolded. These activities not only fostered teamwork but also built empathy and understanding among colleagues. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn from one another, strengthen our bonds, and most importantly, have fun together! A big thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this event a success! Let's continue to embrace diversity and inclusion in all that we do! 💪🤝 Sony Europe #Sustainability #Diversity

Recently, our Sony Romania team enjoyed a volunteering day together on the beautiful beach of Constanta. They spent a day collecting garbage on the beach, after hosting a big music festival which produced a lot of waste. The team showed great sensitivity to environmental issues by helping the community and local authorities, collecting well over 100 kg of garbage! 🗑️ Great job to all the participants and thanks for your precious contribution to the environment! 🙌🏼 Sony Europe #SonyCares #Sustainability #SocialContribution
