🎉 Exciting News! 🎉 We're delighted to share the launch of the CETENMA Living Lab, a fantastic new initiative aimed at driving innovation in the Murcia region and beyond! 🌍✨ CETENMA is taking a bold step by using the Living Lab format to boost the circular economy. This means more #interaction, sharing knowledge, and testing out #innovative solutions in real-life settings. Our first event, held on May 8 at the Murcia Science Park, was all about circular fertilizers made from #biowaste, food by-products, and wastewater, as part of the SOILUTIONS and FER-PLAY projects. The event was a huge success! We had farmers, agronomists, fertilizer producers, researchers, and local administration officials all under one roof. Everyone got to see samples and chat with producers of insect frass and struvite recovered from industrial wastewater at our lively "expo" corner. And we're just getting started! Future meetings will focus on improving soil health, especially through the newly funded Soil Mission project, "Icoshell." Want to know more? News from Soilutions! 🚀 On April 26, 2024, we joined an incredible workshop, "From Lab to Field: Circular Fertilizers in Practice,” hosted by Nutricycle Vlaanderen at the Universiteit Gent. Nearly 40 participants, including farmers, researchers, and industry leaders, gathered to explore sustainable agriculture. 🌱 Why Read This? Innovative Solutions: Discover how we turn excess manure into valuable fertilizers, promoting sustainable nutrient management. Collaborative Projects: Learn about three EU-supported initiatives: Soilutions, Renu2Cycle, and Novafert. All focused on creating a circular economy for nutrients. This workshop was a major step towards sustainable agriculture.
