SAMSON valves keep the Olympics flowing 🔥🏃 ⏱︎ Just one day before the opening ceremony of Paris 2024 - Comité d'organisation des Jeux Olympiques et Paralympiques de 2024 🎊🇫🇷! We are proud to contribute to this global 🌍 event by supplying valves to two iconic sites. 🏟️ Installed in 2023, over 25 valves are in place at the cooling plant located in the adidas arena, the unique site constructed within Paris for the Olympics. These valves are crucial for regulating the flow of cold water in the Parisian cooling network, which is entirely powered by renewable energy. This ensures a refreshing environment for athletes competing in badminton, rhythmic gymnastics, para-badminton, and para-weightlifting 🏋️🏸🤸 ♀️. 🏢 Additionally, SAMSON valves are supplying cooling to the Olympic Village in the Pleyel district of Saint-Denis, north of Paris. We are proud to announce the successful supply of a batch of 12 chokes, 6" 2500#, constructed in WCC with a duplex F51 plug and an integral Tungsten Carbide cage. The chokes feature multistage and balance-type trims for reduced thrust. Each choke was equipped with stepping actuators. These chokes are designed for seawater injection service and will be installed in an offshore field in Brazil. #samson #valves #chokes #upstream #offshore

Supply of Samson Ringo choke tailored for the upstream industry. In this case, it is a 10" 2500# choke, constructed from AISI 4130 and fully cladded with Alloy 625. Equipped with a tungsten carbide balance trim, this choke has been specially delivered to Samson Brazil for integration into a FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) vessel, which will be deployed in a Brazilian offshore field. #samson #choke #upstream

While hermetically sealed globe valves play a vital role by providing airtight seals to contain heavy water in CANDU reactors, small bellows-sealed valve designs are non-serviceable and require replacement. We are excited to announce that Ringo has successfully completed design, manufacturing and test of eight (8) state-of-the-art DN450xDN300 PN160 pneumatic actuated globe control valve to be installed in Akuyyu NPP in Turkey. Operating under a design pressure of 9 MPa and a design temperature of 300°C, this valve ensures precise regulation of steam volume to the Condenser, optimizing steam turbine launches. In normal operation, valve has a remarkable 4-second stroking time, coupled with a precise positioner for spot-on control. And in emergency mode, this valve responds in just 1 second, moving swiftly to the fail-closed position with the help of high-capacity solenoid valves and a pneumatic actuator spring. Design of these valves has been previously qualified by means of a prototype which has been subject to: -Cycling test -Multiple hydrostatic test (60 times) -Dead band test. -Flow capacity test -Sound pressure test -Seismic qualification This achievement stands as a testament to the dedication and expertise of the entire Ringo team involved in bringing this project to fruition.
