Have you had a chance to check out #miotyGO yet? If not, let us walk you through how it can boost your understanding of #mioty: Developed in partnership with the mioty alliance, this educational tool was created to bring mioty technology closer to #developers. It allows users to set up a development mioty Base Station for testing and run up to 10 endpoints. In response to user input, our team rolled out an update to miotyGO, giving users the ability to manually adjust the RX signal gain. With this new update (version 1.1), users now have the freedom to fine-tune the #signalgain themselves, enhancing performance and signal strength based on their specific requirements. This improvement ensures more precise signal measurements and provides users with greater control, all without altering the core functionality of the platform. At LORIOT, we are dedicated to constantly enhancing our solutions, including our open-source tools, by carefully considering user feedback. Your input is extremely valuable, and we welcome more feedback to continue advancing miotyGo. We encourage you to give the tool a try – it's freely accessible for everyone! You can find all the technical documentation you need to get started in the comments section.

A great #environmental #monitoring use case deployed in Australia 🇦🇺 by our partner Indicium Dynamics with Milesight IoT hardware. We are proud to contribute with our Network Management System! The wildfire risk prevention solution sought to tackle the issues linked to manual observation techniques by creating an advanced remote monitoring system to assess in-field moisture levels. The main goals were to improve moisture reading accuracy and burn window predictions, while lowering monitoring costs and minimizing injury risks for forest staff. The automated fuel moisture sensors provide continuous, real-time data, enhancing overall efficiency and safety in fuel management practices. Once more the #TripleImpact of IoT in action: cost reduction safer operators wildlife protection In the post below, Milesight IoT summarizes the main elements of the use case: how it works, which devices were used, and the return. Our LORIOT Hungarian representatives, Attila Mátyás Balogh and Szabó Dániel, recently attended both The Things Conference (TTC) and #TEKsummit in Amsterdam, with the two events happening back-to-back.  The focus of the TEK Summit, organized by our partners at TEKTELIC, was clear—customer success through innovative products, seamless implementation, and delivering real ROI. The day began with an insightful conversation with Edmund Hain, DACH at TEKTELIC, discussing the LOGMAS project. This project highlights the importance of collaboration between both sides to bridge any potential technical gaps, ensuring smooth execution. It was a strong reminder of the significance of partnership in tackling technical challenges. Following this, TEKTELIC provided a comprehensive rundown of their current lineup, covering #gateways, #devices, and #software. It was valuable to see how much they rely on customer feedback to shape their offerings—something that was evident throughout the event. In addition to the sessions, we had the chance to catch up with the Founder and CTO of TWTG, John Tillema, reflecting on best practices within the industry. Our previous collaboration on a significant project with Shell added depth to the conversation. Attila and Szabó left the #summit confident in our ability to drive success alongside partners like TEKTELIC, whose customer-centered approach strengthens their offerings and demonstrates a clear commitment to continuous product improvement. Special thanks to Miromico for inviting us to TTC, where our team had the chance to exchange ideas and get insights with partners like Semtech and Utopi. It's always rewarding to engage with industry peers, share knowledge, and pave the way for innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of the market. Until next year!
