    Do you have a spare $35,000? 💲 Then why not buy a 5m optical EO satellite from USpace? 🇭🇰 🛰️ The Hong Kong-based company formerly known as #HKATG published a price list for 6 different optical EO satellites today, shown below. A few thoughts: 🛰️ It's an overly simplified price list for sure, with only one variable (resolution). Presumably even if the base prices below are reality, there will be plenty of add-ons to bump the price up 🏭 The satellites are almost certain to be built in Hong Kong, using mostly Chinese components. This was the vision of USpace from the beginning--use HK's position as an international Chinese city to get the best of both worlds: Chinese space industry supply chain western demand ❓It's still very much an open question as to whether USpace should be taken serioulsy as a satellite manufacturer. The company has built a very limited number of satellites to date, and their few big anchor customers are pretty small companies that have made very big promises.
