During the INCIT-EV Final Event, participants had the opportunity to discover the infrastructures of both low-speed and high-speed #inductiveroads that were set up in Versailles and Paris as part of the Project. The development of dynamic #inductivecharging could be a real game-changer to boost the adoption of #electricmobility. ➡️It could help considerably reduce the size of #electricvehicles ' batteries, making them lighter, more affordable and more energy-efficient. ➡️It also reduces the need for raw materials and therefore makes them easier to recycle. What a start for the INCIT-EV Final Event! The INCIT-EV Final Event just started! This Final Event is the culmination of four years of hard work from all INCIT-EV partners to boost the adoption of #electricmobility within Europe and shape the future of electric mobility. During two days, they will present the main #results of the projects during several top-notch #conferences. Participants to the event will also visit two Europe's flagship #inductivecharging roads that were set up as part of the project. 📣Last week, Ville de Paris inaugurated Europe's first Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer (#DWPT) demonstrator in urban area as part of the INCIT-EV project.  Participants witnessed an #electricvehicle recharging while driving on a road equipped by #IncitEV partners over a distance of 30 meters. This brief #demonstration of 30 meters significantly increased the vehicle's #autonomy by more than one kilometer, paving the way for potential reductions in charging duration and #battery size without compromising autonomy. Geoffroy Boulard, Mayor of the 17th arrondissement, and Penelope Komites-Valadares, Deputy Mayor of Paris for Innovation, Attractiveness, Paris 2030 Prospective, and Resilience, were present to discover this #innovation. 📣We are delighted to announce that our #superfastcharging demonstrator in #Tallinn has just been installed! The tests are currently underway. The #charger should be able to charge an #electricvehicle in less than 20 minutes. It also provides #ancillaryservices by  ➡️acting as a static reactive compensator that prevents voltage drops that could cause #powerfailures. ➡️ participating in the mFRR down flexibility market, thus helping to balance the #powergrid.
