At IDOM, we continue to support social inclusion initiatives, this time through the Foundation Adecco #EmpleoParaTodas programme. Aimed at improving the employability of women at risk of exclusion, IDOM volunteers have shared with them an adapted, transversal and real vision to promote their motivation and strengthen the necessary security to successfully face the challenge of accessing a job. Seven out of the 11 women supported found a job during the programme and all the participants stated that they had set themselves goals that they had previously considered unattainable. Thanks to the Fundación Adecco and these remarkable women. ----------------- En IDOM seguimos apoyando iniciativas de inclusión social, esta vez a través del programa EmpleoParaTodas de la Fundación Adecco. Enfocado en mejorar la empleabilidad de mujeres en riesgo de exclusión, el voluntariado de IDOM ha compartido con ellas una visión adaptada, transversal y real en aras de favorecer su motivación y afianzar la seguridad necesaria para asumir con éxito el reto de acceder a un puesto de trabajo. 7 de las 11 mujeres atendidas han conseguido empleo durante el programa, y todas las participantes afirman haber establecido objetivos propios que hasta ahora consideraban inalcanzables. The technical coordination of the IV Congress of the Spanish Network of Smart Cities has been a privileged platform to understand the problems and analyze the good practices of many cities. This allows us at IDOM to design solutions for our clients that focus on #innovation and #sustainability. In urban areas, connectivity is becoming increasingly important as a key factor in improving quality of life. Thank you Red Española de Ciudades Inteligentes (RECI) for your trust.   This event has been an important place to meet and to continue working towards our goal of improving people's quality of life. The SDGs as flags for our projects!   Sustainable development requires the participation of every single person on the planet. At IDOM, we respond to this universal call to action by leading projects that contribute significantly to the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).   Today, September 25, marks the ninth anniversary of the adoption of the SDGs. This milestone serves as a reminder that we have a shared roadmap to end poverty, protect the planet, and reduce inequalities. However, as of today, only 17% of the Sustainable Development Goals are on track for 2030. At IDOM, we see the challenges that remain and reaffirm our commitment to increase our contribution and achieve real transformation in all our projects.   Today we join the Pacto Mundial de la ONU España campaign and wear the #SDGFlagDay.   #Togetherforthesdgs ------------------------- ¡Los ODS por bandera en nuestros proyectos!   El desarrollo sostenible necesita que todas y cada una de las personas del planeta estén implicadas. En IDOM, respondiendo a ese llamamiento universal a la acción, lideramos proyectos que contribuyen significativamente a la Agenda 2030 y los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS).   Hoy, 25 de septiembre, se celebra el 9º aniversario desde la aprobación de los ODS. Este hito sirve para recordar que tenemos una hoja de ruta común para poner fin a la pobreza, proteger el planeta y reducir las desigualdades. Sin embargo, actualmente, tan solo el 17% de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible van por buen camino para 2030. En IDOM, viendo los retos que siguen presentes, reafirmamos nuestro compromiso para aumentar nuestra contribución y conseguir una transformación real en todos nuestros proyectos. Wrapping up an amazing week at ITS World Congress 2024! It has been an incredible honor to take part in the ITS World Congress 2024 in Dubai, where we showcased our most cutting-edge and innovative ITS solutions. Throughout the week, IDOM has shown how our technologies are helping to transform urban mobility and drive more connected and sustainable infrastructures. We would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth (H6-G9). It has been an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, explore new collaborations, and strengthen relationships with our partners and clients. We tell how we improve society in the TVE program on pioneering companies: Por fin es lunes (Finally it's Monday)   The docu-factual program wants to show how companies will be in the future through great experts and immersing in some of the most pioneering companies of the Spanish scene. IDOM was one of those chosen. Together with Danone and Wible, we starred in the chapter entitled: Companies that improve society. Our colleagues Almudena Bautista and Maria Concepción Ortega Ortiz tell us how sustainability has been part of our culture since our origins, how our work has always been linked to technological development, how we collaborate to improve people's quality of life, to transform cities...   Do you want to see it? Diamniadio technology park, a project of the present for the Senegal of the future Our colleagues Jaled Salmán Callejo, Yolanda Cerezo and Aitor González visited the Diamniadio Technology Park together with our colleague Federico Pardos Auber, the architect in charge of the project. They had the opportunity to visit the park, see the progress of the works and have a meeting with the client.   "The IDOM team that designed and supervised the work on the Technology Park can be very proud. It is a well-thought-out project in terms of its operation, circulation, choice of materials and systems, and relationship with the environment. It is a proposal that combines the necessary technological character with the local essence. It is a project of the present for the Senegal of the future", Yolanda Cerezo, Director of Multilateral Projects.   "To see the project making a tangible contribution to the country's development is very gratifying. Moreover, the harmonious integration with the local environment is a testament to the collective effort and vision we share. It is a real source of pride to be part of a team that leaves such a positive footprint," said Jaled Salman, Project Manager.   "The park is impressive. On September 5, we participated in the annual Summit of the Supply Chain Sustainability School (UK) in Coventry, where the current and future challenges of sustainability and Net Zero were discussed.   Our colleagues Elena Calcerrada Romero and Borja Manzano Hidalgo participated in the sessions, which addressed topics such as decarbonization, just transition, social value, and the need to innovate in the supply chain to reduce the carbon embedded in materials.   Commitment to comprehensive and collaborative sustainability is key to achieving our global goals. #Sustainability #NetZero #IDOM #SupplyChain #Innovation #SustainableFuture  ----------------- El pasado 5 de septiembre, participamos en el Summit anual de la Supply Chain Sustainability School (UK) en Coventry, donde se debatieron los retos actuales y futuros de la sostenibilidad y el Net Zero.
