During Global ITP Awareness Week, we join with the international community and ITP patient organizations around the world to promote public awareness of this rare autoimmune disease.     Affecting 10-62 people per 100,000 worldwide, Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is a blood disorder in which the immune system attacks and destroys the body's own blood platelets, which are essential for clotting blood.     At Grifols we foster research and innovation  in awareness, diagnosis and management of ITP through our GRAIT Awards Program to benefit patients everywhere.  To learn more, visit 👉 https://ow.ly/wTyC50POv2k     #autoimmunedisease #itpawareness #blooddisorder #WhatWeDoMatters

When was the last time you challenged yourself? Pedro, Adela, Luis and Montse do it every day. They live with physical disabilities or reduced mobility. They are users of the Fundació Isidre Esteve and shared a training session in couples with some Grifols employees to show them the challenges they face every day. Grifols Social Initiatives is supporting the foundation's initiative, Centre Pont, that provides rehabilitation services for individuals facing vulnerable situations. Our collaboration is driven by a shared commitment to disability inclusion. At Grifols, this commitment is integral to our corporate ethos, driving innovation, fostering collaboration, and creating a workplace where every individual can thrive. Today's activity is part of our diversity and inclusion strategy, to eliminate prejudice and contribute to the integration of people with disabilities in the workplace. ▶️ Don’t miss the video on Instagram 👉 http://spr.ly/6040obtdQ #DiversityandInclusion #WeAreGrifols #GrisolsSocialInitiatives

On World Cleanup Day, we are proud to share the inspiring actions taken by our teams worldwide. A group of 48 dedicated employees from our Beijing and Shanghai offices joined forces with Pick Up China for a mountain clean-up in Anji. Their collective effort resulted in the removal of 40 kilograms of waste and nearly 900 recyclable items from beautiful mountain trails. Throughout the year, employees from 10 of our plasma centers and from our sites in San Diego and Clayton, in the U.S, have also participated in initiatives in Community Clean-ups to raise awareness of the impact of littering and the importance of responsible environmental protection. These initiatives are part of a larger global movement that not only aims to clean our planet but also to shift attitudes towards waste and its impact on land, rivers, and oceans. We're honored to participate in this campaign, especially as World Cleanup Day is now recognized by the United Nations as an International Day. #WorldCleanupDay #Sustainability #WhatWeDoMatters

We believe in empowering our people to become the leaders of tomorrow, and the GROW Program is a key part of that mission. 🚀 Over the course of 8 months, this global initiative provides high-potential employees with transformative experiences through group coaching, in-person and virtual development sessions, and invaluable mentor connections. We recently hosted our second in-person development sessions in Los Angeles and Barcelona . Key topics included self-leadership and building strong connections to overcome challenges. The LA session featured a Leadership panel, while the Barcelona session introduced an innovation workshop to tackle a real business learning challenge. At Grifols, developing our people is a cornerstone of our strategic vision. #LeadershipDevelopment #PeopleFirst #FutureLeaders #WeAreGrifols

At Grifols, safety is more than a regulatory requirement. It is a philosophy which goes hand in hand with quality. Since the 1970s, we have been at the forefront of advancing patient safety. Our Single Donor Human Plasma, an innovative solution designed for patients with coagulation disorders such as hemophilia, set a new standard in safety at Grifols. Freeze-dried plasma was obtained from a single donor and was used to treat one single patient. It helped protect against unidentified viruses. Today, decades later, our commitment to product safety remains unwavering. We continue to pioneer with the same dedication, ensuring that every product we offer is a step forward for patient care. #Biopharma #Since1909
