🌀 According to AEE's Wind Yearbook 2024, wind energy is the technology that contributes the most to our energy system, exceeding 23.5% of demand coverage in 2023 and 25% so far in 2024. 💡 With an installed capacity of more than 30 GW and more than 22,200 wind turbines in 1,371 wind farms, Spain is at the forefront of the sector. 💨 The wind industry has more than 280 manufacturing centers in 16 autonomous regions, generating employment for 40,000 people, which is expected to double by 2030. Spain ranks 5th in the world in terms of installed capacity and 2nd in Europe, contributing 5,800 million euros to the economy. 🌱 The environmental impact is also significant, with an annual reduction of 32.7 million tons of CO2 thanks to wind energy. In terms of innovation, Spain is a leader in the development of floating offshore wind prototypes and is positioned as the 3rd country in Europe and 4th in the world in terms of patent applications, with more than 350 in 2022. 🔋 From EAG (Empresarios Agrupados - GHESA), we have participated in more than 70 wind projects with a capacity of more than 4 GW in recent years. 🌟 New Projects in Honduras for EAG 🌟 ⚕️ The Government of Honduras has awarded EAG (Empresarios Agrupados - GHESA), together with the Honduran company Asociación de Consultores en Ingeniería (#ACI), the consulting services for the design, management, direction and supervision of the construction and commissioning of three hospitals: #Ocotepeque, #Salamá and the Regional Hospital of #SantaBárbara 🏥 The aim of this project is to guarantee the right to health and improve access to quality health services. 🤝 The quality of our proposal was the key to our selection. 🌟 We are excited to announce a new milestone in EAG's specialized training! 🏢 Since the 15th of July, the municipality of Trillo has been hosting a training course for specialist technicians in radiological protection, given by our experts from EAG (Empresarios Agrupados - GHESA). 🤝 This course has been developed thanks to the agreement signed between the #Trillo Nuclear Power Plant and the Mancomunidad de Municipios Riberas del Tajo. ⚙️ The training will alternate between the Multipurpose Municipal Center of Trillo and the facilities of the Trillo Power Plant. 🔭 EAG’s participation in the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope (#LSST) project at the prestigious Vera Rubin Observatory in northern Chile was key to develop this telescope, currently under construction, that will be able to image the entire available sky every few nights due to its wide range of vision. 📌 EAG’s Scope of Services: 🔴 Engineering and Design: We provide complete engineering services, basic and detailed design of the telescope structure, two-axis actuation mechanisms and motion control. 🔴 Technical Interfaces: We manage the interfaces of the telescope mount with the installed equipment, optics and instruments. 🔴 Procurement and delivery: We manage the procurement of equipment and the tracking of its delivery. 🔴 Technical support: We provide technical support during construction, assembly and shop testing. 🔴 On-site assembly and testing: We provide technical support during on-site assembly and perform final on-site testing. 🌌 At EAG (Empresarios Agrupados - GHESA), we are committed to excellence and innovation in every project. 🌿 Today we showcase the successful development of the Energía de la Loma biomass plant in Villanueva del Arzobispo, Jaén. This state-of-the-art plant focuses on the energetic recovery of olive oil extraction residues. ⚡ It has a nominal capacity of 16 MW, with combustion technology, Rankine cycle without regeneration, and uses 100,000 t/year of olive pomace as fuel. 🔋 EAG (Empresarios Agrupados - GHESA) is providing the EPC/Turnkey services in a joint venture with Foster Wheeler. This project underlines EAG's commitment to sustainable energy solutions by using biomass to produce clean, renewable energy.
