Last week I had the opportunity to attend The 9ᵗʰ International Conference on Biotechniques for Air Pollution Control and Biorefinery at Palexco Conference & Exhibition Center -A Coruña, Spain-. I presented our work on the Metabolic Engineering of GMOs suitable for gas fermentation. Two very intensive days where I witnessed great sessions and had interesting chats with colleagues from all over the world. I caught up with old friends and made new ones while hearing about the milestones in gas fermentation, upgrading processes, and the current growth and development in the field. Time now to head back to Centro Nacional de Energías Renovables (CENER) - National Renewable Energy Centre full of new ideas 💡. Big thanks to the organizers!! and to the city where the journey started 18 years ago!!
