They put the 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 matter.⁣ ⁣ As part of this forward-thinking initiative, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗗𝗔 and our team showcased our technical capabilities, testing facilities, and comprehensive homologation services. W𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁: 𝗔 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘂𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆! 🚗🔋   The Reflectiveh2020 project has been successfully completed, with the final event taking place at 𝗔𝗩𝗟 in Regensburg on October 8th.⁣ ⁣ The project was expertly 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗩𝗧𝗧, with Jenni Pippuri-Mäkeläinen doing an outstanding job in leading the initiative.⁣ ⁣ The primary goal of IDIADA's contributions has been to develop a new vehicle design that accommodates various uses such as passenger transport, goods transport, and accessibility for people with disabilities, all while maintaining high safety standards. The REFLECTIVE vehicle has been tested against Euro NCAP protocols for heavy quadricycles, where it demonstrated significant improvements over standard L7e vehicles. Building on this, we have further explored gender-specific safety considerations by conducting simulations with human body models, assessing protection for both female and male occupants. These insights have helped identify the next steps to further enhance the safety of such vehicles. The REFLECTIVE project has also paved the way for a potential new category of small city vehicles that offer the safety of passenger cars.⁣ ⁣ In terms of charging technology, we have successfully implemented both conductive and inductive charging systems. We’ve expanded our capabilities by adding two test cells in our Powertrain department, dedicated to measuring brake particles from light vehicles (up to 3,500 kg), which will become mandatory from November 2026.⁣ ⁣ This upgrade will help manufacturers comply with Euro 7 by 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘃𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁.
