Last week, we actively participated in the 7th World Psoriasis & Psoriatic Arthritis Conference of the IFPA, which took place from June 27 to 29 in Stockholm, Sweden, and focused on uncovering the broad spectrum of psoriatic disease. During this event, we unveiled new advancements in our ongoing commitment to improving the lives of people living with psoriasis and engaged in insightful conversations with the dermatology and patient community, fostering collaboration and innovation. What a great experience to celebrate Almirall’s 80th anniversary with our team in Spain at the iconic Mount Tibidabo in Barcelona this week.   The 80th anniversary is a major milestone for our company: we have always been about bringing impactful products to people when they need innovative solutions – when diseases impact their lives. That is what motivates me, and us at Almirall.   Today, we are able to help more people living with diseases than ever before, thanks to the advances of science and technology and our growing portfolio of products. But, more importantly, thanks to the outstanding people at Almirall who have been part of this journey over 8 decades. I have very much enjoyed connecting with people from all over the company, across functions, and sites as this shows our passion, dedication, and diversity – this is what it takes to deliver meaningful products to patients and the medical community.   Thank you all for your work and many achievements to help people living with diseases realize their hopes and dreams for a healthy live.   #WeAreAlmirall

In line with our commitment to patient-centricity, we recently participated in the #GlobalHealthSummit, coinciding with the 77th World Health Assembly (WHA) in Geneva, to raise awareness of the mental health burden of skin diseases.   At the summit, we launched our documentary “Skin - Beyond the Surface,” which explores the profound impact of dermatological conditions on mental health, self-esteem, and daily life. The film features insights from healthcare professionals, industry leaders at Almirall, and members of the patient community. Together, they highlight the importance of addressing both the physical and emotional aspects of these conditions and reaffirm our commitment to developing treatments that improve patients' overall wellbeing.
