'Hierarchy' tops Netflix's non-English TV chart
SEOUL, June 19 (Yonhap) -- The Korean original series "Hierarchy" rose to No. 1 on Netflix's weekly chart for non-English TV series, the global streaming service said Wednesday.
The romantic drama, starring rookie actors, garnered 6.3 million total views during the June 10-16 period.
Released June 7, the seven-part series follows the story of a new student harboring a secret. He transfers to an elite high school, where the top students rule with strict law and order, and disrupts the once-solid hierarchy.
Meanwhile, three other Korean shows made it into the top 10. "The Atypical Family" secured third place, the dark comedy "The 8 Show" took sixth place, and "Queen of Tears" landed in eighth place.
