[edit]- In Finland, valitsijayhdistys is an association other than a registered political party (rekisteröity puolue) that has been set up for the purpose of nominating a candidate to a general election. In order to gain the right for nomination, an electoral association must have at least 10 members in a municipal election, 100 in a parliament election, 2,000 in an election for the European Parliament and 20,000 in a presidential election.
