Etymology

From Proto-Albanian *tāslā, from *tēkslā, from Proto-Indo-European *tetḱ- (to hew) (compare Latin tēlum, German Dechsel (adze), Russian тесла́ (teslá, adze)).[1] Cognate with teshë.
