[edit]Etymology
[edit]Pronunciation
[edit]The pronunciations [muːɹ̝], [muːə̯], and [muː] are due to English influence as perhaps is [muːr] with [uː] rather than [uə] (which is not phonemic in English). The spelling mooar possibly suggests a traditional pronunciation of [muəɾ] like the Munster Irish muar, a by-form of Irish mór.
