Megleno-Romanian
[edit]Etymology
[edit]From Latin cooperiō,[1] with the suffix -es from -escō, taken as a fourth-conjugation verb (unlike the Aromanian equivalent (a)coapir and Romanian (a)coperi, (a)copăr; however cf. also Istro-Romanian coperescu, coperu, which maintained both conjugation patterns).
Verb
[edit]cupires
- I cover.
