- Bradal (est. xxi, fig. 4).-Instrumento de aço de fórma cylindrica, tendo porêm na extremidade um gume que corre na direcção de um diâmetro; serve para substituir a verrume na abertura de furos quando se receia que a madeira rache.
- Bradawl (est. XXI, fig. 4) - Steel instrument of cylindrical shape, but with a cutting edge at the end that runs in the direction of a diameter; it is used to replace the auger in making holes when there is a fear that the wood might crack.
