Wiktionary:About Carpathian Rusyn
Taxonomy
[edit]Carpathian Rusyn, together with Russian, Belorussian and Ukrainian forms the East Slavic subgroup of the Slavic sub-branch of the Indo-European language family.
It should not be confused with Pannonian Rusyn, which is a language of the West Slavic subgroup of the Slavic languages, although the two languages share many similarities.
