[edit]Etymology
[edit]Presumably a derivative of nebbich[1] or Nebbich with suffix -ant[2] or rather specifically a blend of nebbich and a word such as Ignorant.[3] However, this often-used word is nowhere to be found in Yiddish sources.[1]
