[edit]Etymology
[edit]Accentological notes
[edit]An important type of restructuring is the unification of stress for all words containing a certain suffix. A similar rearrangement can also occur in words with the same final, i.e., a suffix-like outcome that does not have an independent meaning, cf. мира́ж (miráž, “mirage”), барра́ж (barráž, “barrage”).
