Inherited from Prakrit 𑀧𑀓𑁆𑀓 (pakka) Middle Indo-Aryan -𑀓- (-ka-), from Sanskrit पक्व (pakvá). Cognate with Punjabi پَکّا / ਪੱਕਾ (pakkā).
