New banner

[edit]

I suggest a new, more lively, banner. We rarely have works of art for cities or provinces, unless they really catch the identity of the place. /Yvwv (talk) 00:14, 11 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Suggestion 0: Current banner
Suggestion 1: Fujikawa Bridge.

Added a second one. They could be considered for Shizuoka (prefecture), Chubu, or even Japan. /Yvwv (talk) 00:23, 11 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
I prefer banner 2. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 00:24, 11 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Relation to Mount Fuji

[edit]

This article should explain the relation to Mount Fuji. The mountain is shown in the page banner and the only other image, mentioned in the caption, mentioned as motive for confectionary, but not linked, and nothing told on the relation. Do people come here for some mountain related reason (other than to buy confectionary)? Can you see the mountain from here? Apparently, but the images might have been taken from a nearby radio mast and the mountain obscured from the city itself. Can you get there from here? It isn't mentioned as a Go next. –LPfi (talk) 03:29, 13 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
