The Women's Kabaddi League (WKL) is a professional Indian kabaddi league for women which started in 2023. Its first season was contested by eight teams in Dubai,[1][2] with Uma Kolkata beating Punjab Panthers in the final.[3][4]
Teams
[edit]The eight teams are Delhi Dynamites, Gujarat Angels, Great Marathas, Haryana Hustlers, Punjab Panthers, Rajasthan Riders, Uma Kolkata, and Bengaluru Hawks.[5] The winning team earned ₹10,000,000 (US$120,000) while the runner-up earned ₹5,000,000 (US$60,000).[3]
