- The Doctor Who Reference Guide, which primarily focuses on plot
- Doctor Who Locations, for finding filming locations for the series
- Digital Spy's Doctor Who section, which includes news and reviews pursuant to the new series
- The Guardian's Doctor Who section, which is also useful for finding news and reviews
- The Doctor Who (1963-1989) section on IGN, which has large amounts of content relating to the Classic era of the show
- The Doctor Who (2006-present) section on IGN, which has reviewed episodes since series 2 and also contains some news articles
- The Radio Times has a large amount of content on Doctor Who, ranging from reviews on episodes from 1963-present, developmental information, interviews and more.
- The BBC's official Doctor Who website contains casting information, broadcast dates and times, and behind the scenes videos. The Doctor Who website's stories section also contains similar info. Both of these sources are primary citations, but are helpful if this information cannot be accessed in secondary sources.
Other sources that have produced consistent Doctor Who related content but do not have dedicated sections include The A.V Club and SFX Magazine.
