here is a Draft Draft:Adam Baratta which was made by master and seem to be wp:COI and here again the sock created the page Adam Baratta (author) of an Actor with a suffix Author. Both the accounts seem to be working under a paid farm. Dtt1^Talk 14:18, 9 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk note: I'm blocking Liza based on behavior alone. It's clear from their massive editing of Project Medishare as well as weird things like leaving a prod template on somebody's user page and this edit, aside from the common touch-point of Adam Baratta. TheSandDoctor, The two weird things I was digging into were 1) Why would a new sock PROD some other sock's page and 2) Why create Draft:Adam Baratta when Adam Baratta (author) already existed? The most likely explanation I can come up with is multiple sock farms competing for the same work. The more devious explanation would be client shakedowns, ala WP:Orangemoody. NotJuggerNot, an inexperienced user, somehow found their way to the talk page of a draft that NawJee had created and requested that it be accepted. [1] This could be either WP:SOCK or WP:MEAT at this point, but the behavioural evidence convinces me it is SOCK:

On May 12, NotJuggerNot posted on MER-C's talk page: [2] It would be odd for a user with only a handful of edits and no prior interactions with MER-C to find this page and know that he is "one of the most respected people around here", but it would be perfectly understandable for NawJee to know this since they were blocked by MER-C on April 18th. NotJuggerNot added a wikiproject tag to an obscure article created by NawJee. [4]
NotJuggerNot created Haitian Flag Day. Mea culpa, I accepted this out of AfC, as it does seem to be a notable topic and I didn't look into the editor's history. At the time I remember being concerned about promotional language in the following sentence: Miami's MOCA Plaza celebrations are famous for featuring prominent Haitian-American celebrities, artists, musicians, entertainers, and political personalities. Some names who have featured over the past years include artist André Eugène, entertainers Plus Daddy and Success St Fleur Jr., music bands Kreyòl La and T-Vice among others. but I AGF'd and chalked it up to an inexperienced user imitating the style of news articles too closely. Well, blocked sock Liza Peterson just created Draft:Success St Fleur Jr., so I suppose I shouldn't have assumed good faith. The NawJee account would do this same sort of thing where they would create articles about legit topics that are related to their UPE topic, for example they wrote a bunch of articles about wildfires [5] and then created Bridger Aerospace about a wildfire management company. (BTW, some interesting stuff going on in that article's history [6]).

There is more behavioural evidence than this, which I can email a clerk about if necessary, but I think this is enough to justify a check. Requesting CU for sleepers since this account actually predates NawJee... I saw that the last CU result was not helpful but this account has many more edits than Liza Peterson so there might be more data. Spicy (talk) 16:11, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk note: It's not terribly surprising NotJuggerNot is technically unrelated. Pretty much the same situation as with Liza Peterson, the previous sock. My inclination is to block NotJuggerNot as meat, purely on behavior. I don't think the behavioral evidence is quite as strong as it was with Liza, but on the other hand, it's clear NotJ has previous wiki experience beyond what their apparent editing history suggests. Ivanvector, I took another look at both of these. I'm quite convinced that NJN is not a LaurelWest sock. The interaction report, for example, only shows a single touch-point (other than The Teahouse). On the other hand, the more I look at NJN's editing history, the more I'm convinced they're a sock of somebody.

I was still on the fence if I could tie them specifically to NawJee, but today, I just noticed the N-J alliteration in both their usernames, and that pushed me over the edge. So I'm going to indef them as a suspected sock, and rename this case since they're now the oldest. -- RoySmith (talk) 17:40, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@RoySmith: Bradv's "unrelated" result does not mean "we're not sure", it means "these are different people". I re-checked to be sure, and as stated before, NotJuggerNot is Unrelated to NawJee - these two individuals edit from different continents. This case should not have been renamed. Please untangle this:
- Liza Peterson: Confirmed to the accounts I listed today at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/DoshNomad
- NawJee: I can't disagree with Salvio giuliano's finding, but based on further information I find the connection to Liza Peterson/DoshNomad quite Unlikely. NawJee uses a static IP with no other users on it; Liza Peterson (like the other socks in that group) uses a shared corporate connection on a different large subnet.
  These two seem to me like two unrelated individuals responding to a common advertisement for a bought biography. Note that the two drafts are quite dissimilar despite using many of the same sources - sources for jobs like these are often provided by the client.
- NotJuggerNot: may be someone's sock, but they are not NawJee, nor Liza Peterson/DoshNomad. They were technically similar to the recent Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/LaurelWest accounts, but more than one clerk now has said they're not behaviourally similar, and I agree. Unless there's better evidence of socking or undisclosed commercial editing, in my opinion they should not have been blocked.
