Suspected sockpuppets

[edit]

User:62.168.13.98 first began an edit war on the Czechs article. When he was on the verge of breaking WP:3RR, User:Hebel took over the argument. User:Hebel is much more polite, but the arguments are virtually identical, for example referring to the importance of the German name for the Czech country[1][2]. Also, both accounts show a disdain for anonymity and put scare quotes around my username[3][4]. Mojo Hand (talk) 19:24, 15 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I know there's been a difference of opinion about what I would consider to be a minor issue. The suspicion of sockpuppetry and accusations of disdain are just silly, as I just reinstated an apparently sourced edit by an IP editor. Also I engaged (admittedly later) on the talkpage as Mojo Hand, to his credit, has done also. I'm perfectly willing to discuss this further with Mojo Hand if he want's to engage. There is no need for an incident and there is no need for any SPI. Gerard von Hebel (talk) 19:46, 15 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I declined the CU request. We don't connect IP(s) with named accounts.--Bbb23 (talk) 19:54, 15 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
