Two of these accounts are already blocked but Goodbye 2021 is the most recent one and currently active at AfD. Their knowledge of notability guidelines seems to suggest that they are not a new editor. Goodbye overlaps with User:Loved2001 at Trappista cheese, Morbier cheese, Hotel Indonesia, Dovedale cheese and Brillat-Savarin cheese, all of which they have sent to AfD with dubious comments like "Cheese Articles are Reverted by Bbb23. It is Impossible", which seems like a personal attack against User:Bbb23. Worth also noting that they are reverting a few of Bbb23's edits as well. [1] [2] [3] Bbb23 blocked User:Loved2001 so it's possible that these edits are out of spite. Also, there is username similarity between the two most recent socks as they reference to years. I've blocked and tagged the Goodbye account. I'm leaving the CU request intact; as a patrolling admin, I endorse it as I'm unsure whom Martin Urbanec was referring to when they glocked the master as a "likely WMF banned user". I've had a look - the two listed accounts are consistently using the same (very common) user agent, and they overlap on two separate ranges that belong to the same ISP and geolocate to the same place. There are other accounts that also overlap on those ranges, but they don't look like the same person - these accounts are much more active than any others on the range, and have a different pattern of editing: I don't see any other suspicious accounts (but I could easily be missing something, these are some busy ranges). Thanks. I moved the case to BFDIFan707 as the oldest account - it's pretty clear all of these are related based on usernames, behaviour and cross-wiki activity (see e.g. [6]). ANI complaint was created here: Special:Diff/1108429268 by IndonesiaSquarepants claiming Heraldrist (and themselves) by proxy were socks of WikiLoverFan1007. Heraldrist then added these to their talk page: Special:Diff/1108419056, Special:Diff/1108427679. There has definitely been messing about here; IndonesiaSquarepants created their own userpage noting they're an alternate account of Heraldrist, who they later reported to ANI as a sock of WikiLoverFan1007. Heraldrist has already been CU confirmed on Commons and they have tagged their own userpage as being a sockpuppeteer (as well as tagging BFDIFan707's userpage as being a banned user). Heraldrist and IndonesiaSquarepants are Confirmed to each other. Samuel Amadeo77 is Technically indistinguishable to those two, but I'm not seeing any editing overlap, so Behavioural evidence needs evaluation. Based on logs, I'd say this group is Likely to BFDIFan707, but that's as good as I can get with the limited data we have. Samuel Amadeo77 has no overlap with the other accounts, there's some subtle differences, and there's some now supressed information from each of Samuel Amadeo77 and Heraldrist (which I have seen) which makes it possible that they are editing from a shared IP. Hi, this is my first SPI report so I hope this is the right venue? I'm not totally sure what's going on here but it's all very weird and suggests to me some sort of sockpuppet shenanigans.

PennsylvaniaHorse seems to have created the LTA page for the sockpuppeteer yesterday?[7] Wikipedia:Long-term abuse/BFDIFan707. That doesn't seem right, and it reads like a self-promo biography. There's also a bunch of information on there that might need to be oversighted?
User:PennsylvaniaHorse has infoboxes about heraldry and Indonesia.
The user is editing geographical articles.
The user is making many small edits, some of which are plausibly constructive but some of which are just not helpful (e.g. this completely redundant insertion [8])
The user does not seem to be a new editor considering one of their first edits was creating(?) an LTA page, and they're posting RM templates on talk pages[9]. Blue Edits (talk) 09:57, 17 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
