Not mentioned on target page. Also, the redirect has an edit history that probably would not pass an AfD if nominated as an article. Steel1943 (talk) 05:49, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I came to this blind but genuinely I didn't see that "tacular" was a pun on "spectacular". I just read Kilt (I know it has two L's) and tackle is a slang name for penides (but not listed at that DAB). I assumed — wrongly or rightly — possibly both — that it was the secret thing that is worn under a Scotsman's kilt. "Nothing's worn, madam, it's all in good order". 09:58, 7 November 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by SimonTrew (talkcontribs)

Gauge White

None of the references on the target page present the article's subject as "Gauge White" as a real name or otherwise. Also, all searches on a rather popular search engine for the phrase "Gauge White" only return information about gauges that are white in color; thus, there probably isn't a good retarget option, considering that Gauge white currently does not exist either. Steel1943 (talk) 05:45, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

May I mention in passing that I can never spell guage correctly. Usually I spell well (and type badly), but "gauge" is a nemesis. gauge is a DAB. Guage redirects there. Si Trew (talk) 09:32, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Am I totally wrong? To gauge someone is to cut them heavily isn't it? Gauging also is R to DAB at Gauge? gage (U.S. sp.) is a DAB. Give me the tin of worms, I have a tin opener. Si Trew (talk) 09:37, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Oh perhaps that is gouge. I've been saying "gauge" all my life, and not only to those who dare to disagree with me on Wikipedia. It sounds the same in my accent. Si Trew (talk) 09:39, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • @SimonTrew: Exactly... The lack of any references that I am able to find that proves this to be a real name or "otherwise" (such as an alternate stage name) poses the BLP issue I see. "...the penny drops." Yup, pretty much! I'm thinking of displaying a pic of that on my user page soon, provided that there's a free image on Wikimedia Commons. Penny for the Guy?
, I just put a couple on Commons. Si Trew (talk) 02:22, 11 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Sammy1339: Would you, by chance, be able to post a link to a reputable source that has her real name listed as "Gauge Deans"? Just asking since the redirect Gauge Deans currently doesn't exist, and the information showing the actress' real name is currently not in the article. Steel1943 (talk) 17:51, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Steel1943: No, her name is not "Gauge Deans" either; Deans is her legal last name, and I figured her first name is irrelevant to this discussion. It's generally not good practice to publish pornstars' real names, unless they've attained public notability under that name, e.g. Fareeza Terunuma uses her real name for her art exhibitions. Gauge, on the other hand, has attained some notability e.g. in articles in Salon and the Huffington Post for being harassed and ostracized post-porn career, so probably doesn't want her name published. --Sammy1339 (talk) 18:03, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it really serves a point to redirect an actor to an article about a TV show they were on that includes no information on the actual actor. JDDJS (talk) 04:31, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
