Request Information
[edit]- Request made by: Ramsquire (throw me a line) 19:48, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
- Where is the issue taking place?
- ...The issue is taking place on the following articles, and on their subpages. Lee Harvey Oswald, Kennedy Assassination theories, John F. Kennedy assassination
- Who's involved?
- ... RPJ, Ramsquire (throw me a line) 19:48, 14 November 2006 (UTC), Mytwocents, Gamaliel, Sbharris, Joegoodfriend, Andreasegde,
- What's going on?
- ...A good synopsis of this dispute can be found on the recent RfC on this user. Apparently the comments have not deterred user as today alone he has continued his assault on the Lee Harvey Oswald article and on other users on its talk page. Several of his posts have been deleted as offensive. User has been banned five times for this trolling behavior.
- What would you like to change about that?
- ...I would like to have someone else, beside the above editors (excluding Andreasegde-- who eggs RPJ on), explain to RPJ why he is not contributing to the project with his edits. I would hope that said explanation would result in his changing his behavior. Any good faith between he and other editors is gone. Finally, what I would actually like is a community ban, as has been suggested in the RfC. I know you can't do that, but this is where I see this dispute ending.
- Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?
- ...I have no preference. If you need me, you can reach me on my talk page. But if a public discussion would work best, I'm all for it.
