Ponyboy Curtis

This article is mostly a repetition of inuniverse plot details, and this character (and others) are covered with an almost equal amount of depth in the main The Outsiders (novel). Although there has been a film (The Outsiders (film)) and tv adaptation (The Outsiders (TV series)), these do not seem to make these characters notable outside of the context of those articles. Delete all or merge to The Outsiders (novel). Much as I loved S.E. Hinton's slim paperback when I was a kid, I agree that none of the characters rate their own article... not even Ponyboy. Comment A lot of people have suggested merge as an alternative, but I still question what and why. There are a lot of plot details, yes, but these are minor considering the rest of the book; anything that isn't minor is already in the book article. --Nick Penguin_(contribs) 01:38, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
