WP:NLIST requires that the group or set that composes the list be covered significantly by reliable sources as a group. I'm not seeing any evidence from google searches or from other means that cover this topic significantly as a group, so I think that this fails WP:NLIST. Why start here, though, rather than at List of highways numbered 677 or List of highways numbered 1036 or List of highways numbered 1199? Why is 1188 in particular the starting point for deletion discussion? Uncle G (talk) 21:33, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- Because I think that this particular list is not notable. I looked for sources that describe this particular list as a group and I could not find them. I don't really think that the existence of other similar unsourced lists prevents us from discussing whether or not we should delete this list. If you have found sources that would justify keeping this list as notable under WP:NLIST, feel free to note them on this page. My reason for nominating this for deletion is that there is no evidence I can find that such sources exist.— Mhawk10 (talk) 21:42, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguate at 1188 (disambiguation) between the year 1188 and the two listed highways, and possibly others. I'd do the same for all the highway numbers that have fewer than 5 entries. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 23:26, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy redirect to 1188 (disambiguation) as an incomplete disambiguation. The only purpose served by these highway lists is disambiguation, so INCDAB is controlling in this case. I would not mind if INCDAB were used as a rationale to merge many other similar highway-number lists into disambiguation pages. They should not, however, be merged into pages about the corresponding numeric value (if we had a page on the number 1188, we should not list highways on it, because they use 1188 as a name rather than for any special properties of its value). Redirect to 1188 (disambiguation) - Highway 1188 presumably should not be a redlink and should redirect somewhere. For now, the newly-created DAB at 1188 (disambiguation) is that where.
