The subject apparently does not meet WP:BAND. Prod was declined. GregorB (talk) 21:07, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - But it does meet the WP:BAND criteria. 5. Has released two or more albums on a major label or on one of the more important indie labels (i.e. an independent label with a history of more than a few years, and with a roster of performers, many of whom are notable). They have two albums out of code666 records, which is a notable indie label, that has been around for over 10 years, and some notable black metal bands.Hellboy42 (talk) 23:32, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete per nom. As far as I can tell the article fails all 12 criteria set at WP:BAND. As for #5 - code666 does have a roster of metal bands, but I'm not sure whether it satisfies the "many of whom are notable" requirement. From looking at their website their only other barely notable acts (in terms of sales) are Negură Bunget of Romania and Void of Silence of Italy. And Wikipedia articles on both rely entirely on primary sources, which tends to point to lack of standalone notability, which in turn makes me think that the label itself is not especially notable. As for Johann Wolfgang Pozoj, three out of five references cited come from their record label and the other two are from Metal Underground.com, both looking like routine coverage. In one of these band members talk about themselves, which is supposed to be ignored per WP:BAND rule #1. I'm sorry but not only there isn't much to assume notability here, but Negură Bunget and Void of Silence seem like good AfD candidates as well. Timbouctou (talk) 00:28, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- A very good point there: while notability of this band seems to hinge on the notability of their record company (if it's notable, they are too; if it isn't, neither are they), it might be questionable whether they meet even WP:GNG. GregorB (talk) 09:06, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete: agree with everything said by Timbouctou. There's no way code666 is an "important indie label", compared to Relapse or Century Media, which are important indie labels. Additionally, should this article be deleted, the related album articles should probably also be deleted. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 02:39, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
